What best cheap miniature(except for car) that uses DC motor, and does not need much time to finish? It will be controlled in computer using parallel port(it will be programmed in C). It can be robot, but when I google for it, almost all are using arduino board.

Waterpump - control level on/off OR maintain fixed level for varying output flow. Genuine flying thingy that's tethered by the wires. Cam cheat and be on an arm- so easy - or freeflight. Battery screwdriver gives you motor and gearbox so you have powerful slow speed drive. Wrap a cord around a driver bit and you have a rotary to linear drive. MANY applications.
