Based on some scant knowledge of photovoltaic technology, I understand that "multijunction" cells, particular those made from Copper Indium Gallium diSelenide, are the most efficient kind today. But by Googling, I cannot find any "multijunction" cells for sale.

What are the most efficient solar cells available today for me to purchase in quantities of 1-10? Types? Manufacturers? Brand names? Vendors?

Shopping questions are generally off-topic. As a side note, the people who care about maximizing efficiency are space applications - everyone else is trying to minimize cost per watt. – W5VO Aug 24 '12 at 3:54
