I'm in year 11 at school and I am just about to start my GCSE (General Certificate of Secondary Education) project. I intend to make a Blackberry docking station and I need to get the electrical components to go inside it however I don't really know what I am looking for. I appreciate that it will only be a simple circuit but I am not sure what parts I need. I intend to use a rotary volume control which is situated on the docking station itself and power it off the mains. The connection to the phone is also a jack lead. Thanks

If your school uses Rapid Electronics as a supplier, look at the velleman kits then you can see the design and build upon that,if you could get one to play with that is great primary research(gives you a lot of marks). – Dean Sep 15 '12 at 11:45
