I am a 24 year old father, developer and designer. At my day job, I work as a certified Java and SalesForce developer to create custom web applications for a variety of clients. Any free time I have left over, after parental duties, is spent learning or honing my craft. I aspire to be a developer others can learn from and count on.

How do I increase loop antenna gain? That chart is very helpful. Not only for its contents but I remember seeing a chart like that for loops and being generally lost as to what I was seeing. |

How do I increase loop antenna gain? Oh, I thought the idea of half or quarter waves were just to reduce size and otherwise bigger is better. Like I said in the OP, I am a radio neophyte. |

How do I increase loop antenna gain? @PaulR, I always thought loops/bow-ties were the choice for uhf due to the higher frequencies acting on magnetic resonance (Warning: I may not have any idea what I am talking about) |

Can a small gauge wire be used in a fractal antenna? Wow, this is exactly what I was hoping for. I am actually planning on mounting this on the back of a large picture frame. It will be a world more pleasing to the eye, not to mention a conversation starter of why my picture frame is plugged into the TV. |
