What's so great about ARM? @self - Scratch that advantage too. After some searching it seems Energy Micro has a M3 that in sleep mode + RTC can get down to 0.6uA. |

What's so great about ARM? @stevenvh - Well there is still the power consumption advantage. LPC1102 @ 12MHz sleep mode uses 1mA. Not bad, but about 1000 times more than a [16 bit] msp430. |

Bulletproof firmware upgrades So simply by wiring the UART pins to a port, while connected to a COM port and a PC, you can flash the firmware without any code on the mcu at all? Nice tip. |
