I've seen videos where the board is suspended in a solution with an applied voltage to plate the vias, but I don't really have the resources to do that. When I solder Is soldering parts, is that typically a reliable method to ensure a connection on both sides of a double-sided board? Some of the parts on sit on the board in such a way that it's not possible to tell if solder melted onto both sides. If this is not a reliable method, is there some other, simple way to connect the vias?
