Aug 9, 2015 at 8:17 comment added LvW A resistance is defined BETWEEN two points. Often the 2nd point is a common ref called "ground. In this case, it is common to specify an "input resistance". However, what means "...from the base" and "...from the X"? I never have heard such a term.

Your questions about Thevenin will be answered, and about 80% of your first 4 questions will be answered. You'll spend a significant part of the class learning this stuff. It's not trivial.
