Nov 17, 2020 at 15:50 | comment | added | Kumaran | If power fails Home automation loses power, thereby RLY1 contact opens same time RLY 3 opens. My assembled UPS takes approx 45 secs to cut in. 5V DC relay used in place of RLY 2 can hold contacts for few seconds only. Cannot succeed. Any other suggestions please

Nov 16, 2020 at 2:00 | comment | added | Kumaran | I replaced SPDT Relay 2 to a DPDT relay, then Relay 2 is a DC Relay of 5V coil powered by a 5V mains adapter with added capacitor to hold its contact during transient period from mains to UPS. Added new home automation relay to trigger DPDT relay. Thanks. Anymore possibilities also please share.
Nov 15, 2020 at 16:40 | comment | added | Kumaran | I will try this idea. I have DC relays used in the system. I will try to modify and fit into the system and post the output shortly. Thanks, it really helps mentally.
