I have rewound a full pole shaded-pole motor with new windings and I(4-pole).

It's wound around the stator in a clockwise motion and around each coil in a counter clockwise motion. Does this affect whether

Is the winding being incorrect the reason why the motor comes on but willdoes not rotate?
