I have some musical devices brought from Europe that I would like to convert. I'm tired of having those step-up boxes for each device. I'd like to simply convert once and for all.

The transformer probably are from 220v AC -> 9v DC (or 12v) I noticed that when I plug them in in my 110v outlet they don't work well.

What is the best way to do this?

Should I buy just a new transformer? (I would like to avoid this because these devices are vintage)

Should I add a DC booster? so in case i want to return to original configuration i can sell them in europe?
