I am aware of the following methods. But my intention is to understand the behavior of power converter alone, before adding the controller and feedback loop.

  1. FRA analysis: Provides the open loop frequency response (converter +controller) of a closed loop power converter.
  2. .AC analysis: Works for averaged model, but need to develop the model.

Is there any way to get the equivalent of FRA analysis only for the converter section, without resorting to developing the average model?
