Does pixel binning help to mitigate the rolling shutter effect of a full resolution capture? The idea behind this would be that when binned there is fewer data for readout and thus the image readout from the sensor may be faster.

I am specifically interested in both Raspberry Pi camera boards which can do 2x2 binning - the v1 board uses OV5647 (datasheet here) and the v2 board uses IMX219 (datasheet here).
