I found this schematics and I want to replace op amps with OPA2227. Can it be done? When having two channels, is 4.5VA transformer sufficient? Where can I place volume control? Thank you very much!

\$\begingroup\$ A TDA2320 is not an opamp, so you shouldn't expect to replace it with one. \$\endgroup\$ – brhans Feb 6 '18 at 19:26

\$\begingroup\$ The choice for the TDA2320 is weird, it is a "PREAMPLIFIER FOR INFRARED REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEMS". Using the NE5532 would be a more sane choice as that is an low noise opamp for audio. Looking at the circuit, probably all three (TDA2320, NE5532, OPA2227) will work but no guarantees. My advise: find a circuit using the NE5532 and use that as it is known to work well for audio. \$\endgroup\$ – Bimpelrekkie Feb 6 '18 at 19:45
  • \$\begingroup\$ it depnds where you look for TDA2320 how it's described. Seems good down to 3v rail as well. \$\endgroup\$ – Neil_UK Feb 6 '18 at 19:55
