SolidWorks can use design tables to generate multiple versions of the same schematic. This allows you to draw the most complicated version you can think of and use it to generate many other versions of many different sizes. Suppress features in versions where you don't need and don't suppress them where you do. Say you got an item in 150 sizes and variations, you only need to draw it once.

Now I'm running into that issue with Electrical schematics, having 150 versions of the same schematic because they're all just a bit different in what components they use, how many, etc.

Is there any word on such a feature being available for SolidWorks Electrical as well?

I'm aware of the import/export capabilities to Excel in SW Electrical, but those seem for templates only. To the best of my knowledge, those are insufficient for generating complete schematics.
