Can someone explain how does the capacitor on the collector of Q2 impact the output voltage from Q2's collector. I would like if someone could draw the signal output voltage in Q2's collector when Q2 is in saturation and when it is cut-off. Also, how does the additional capacitor impact the duration of the astable states. I understand that in this current configuration for the base of Q2 I have(R2 = 68k) : $$u_{b2}(t) \approx Vcc(1 - 2e^{\frac{-t}{R_2C_1}}) $$ From which the time while Q1 is in saturation: $$t_1 \approx R_2C_1ln2 $$ Can someone derive a similar formula for the duration of the other astable state.
