So I need to read this RFID tag. I know that it works and I know it uses 13.56 MHz. Still I couldn't read it with available mobile applications. The same when I used Arduino with RFID readers. But I know that it responds and sends information when I try to read with a RFID reader.

Is this because this tag is using a different standard?

    Unless you can provide manufacture and model information, or a low-level dump of the signals it does emit, this doesn't really seem like a question anyone not in the possession of your mystery hardware is going to be able to help you with. – Chris Stratton Aug 28 at 15:09

  • Note that there are many variants of 13.56 MHz tags, including ISO 14443 A and B which have many differences, and other proprietary variants. What is the tag used for? What reader have you been trying to read it with? What reader does actually manage to read it? – jcaron Aug 31 at 11:58
