I'm working with Dual SPDT Analog Switch NLAS4684(ON Semiconductor).

First I'll attach a pinout: Pinout of NLAS4684 from the datasheet

I just want to short COM2-NO2. (Vcc = 5V) In the datasheet, it says

Yes, apparently, if IN1 = IN2 = 5V then 2-3, 9-10 must be short.

I confirmed the short circuit for 2-3, but for 9-10, it wasn't short. Instead, the pin was at high-impedance state.

I just injected only some logic high voltages. What would be the problem? I have 3 chips but all of them have same issue.

  • I confirmed the other ways works such as IN1 = IN2 = 0. So I have a problem for only at IN1 = IN2 = 1 for NO2-COM2.

    \$\begingroup\$ Any possibility there is a solder defect on your test board? Which package are you using, how is it attached, and where are you probing it? \$\endgroup\$ – crj11 Jan 10 at 3:09
  • \$\begingroup\$ @crj11 I'm using MSOP10 package and I'm probing connectivity of NO2-COM2. I'll confirm if the solder has any problem. \$\endgroup\$ – Chanho Jeon Jan 10 at 3:56
