My craftsman garage door sensor receiver not works time by time, may because of the winter cold? I opened the receiver's box and plugged into the connector, the green led is on, disappear after few times open and close test. Should I buy a set of new sensor or fixable? Or is it OK to exchange the left right side of transmitter and receiver?

\$\begingroup\$ In order to be able to make a proper judgement on what (might) need to be replaced someone with 1) knowledge how the system works and 2) proper tools and 3) replacement parts needs to be on-site. U1 looks like an IR sensor that leads me to believe that your remote uses IR as well and works on batteries. Are you 100% sure those batteries are OK? If they are there can be many other points where the system can fail and which are not the detector board that you show. If you want (learn how) to repair, fine but then invest in learning how things work, just don't ask us what to replace. \$\endgroup\$ – Bimpelrekkie Jan 11 at 15:17
