I'm trying to modify a neon bulb spice model to simulate a plasma chamber.

Neon Bulb Parameters

I've calculated the strike voltage (Vstrike) using Paschens law but I haven't been able to find out what the hold voltage/current is or how to calculate them. Does anyone know what these are or where I could learn about them?

  • \$\begingroup\$ There is negative resistance involved and ambient light effects on ionization. This may help. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neon_lamp \$\endgroup\$ – Optionparty Jan 11 at 22:29
