I have an electric scooter that takes a 60v li-ion battery,can I connect 2 identical batteries together to get longer run time ?

    \$\begingroup\$ The reason you should not connect batteries in parallel is that you never have two batteries that are truly, exactly identical. When you connect them in parallel large, possibly dangerous, currents will flow between them. \$\endgroup\$ – Elliot Alderson Feb 7 at 17:42
