I'm trying to communicate with a device via SPI (a radio transceiver, to be more specific) and I want to use external interrupts in order to wake the processor up from sleep mode when a message arrives. I have a version already working (without using interrupts), but when I try to enable them via STM32CubeMX, the SPI stops working.

I tried changing the SPI peripheral used (from SPI1 to SPI3), to no avail.

Any ideas?

    \$\begingroup\$ The code would be helpful. \$\endgroup\$ Feb 23 '19 at 15:26
  • \$\begingroup\$ Which part of it exactly? It's a whole project generated by CubeMX. Would main.cpp (which contains most of the initialization code) be of any use? \$\endgroup\$ Feb 25 '19 at 9:10

\$\begingroup\$ Start simplifying your project until your left with simplest example that still does something. If the problem disappeared in the middle, then check what was the change when that happened, hopefully it will lead to root cause. If it did not disappear, you're at least left with something simpler to analyse (and possibly post here). \$\endgroup\$

  • \$\begingroup\$ The problem is that I can't simplify the project, as it is generated by CubeMX, it's not code that I wrote. \$\endgroup\$ Feb 26 '19 at 19:12
