I’m attempting to repair a totally dead Panasonic SC-HC30DB and have found a faulty diode in the secondary part of the SMPS. However, I can’t identify this diode marked S69D as you can see from the attached photo. Could this be a 1N4069?

I also can’t find the service manual or schematic to look up the PCB part number D5798.

Any help identifying this component would be appreciated.

  • \$\begingroup\$ Would there happen to be any other diodes on the board of the same type? If you can measure a forward voltage or a Zener voltage, that might give you some insight. (or at least some knowledge of what might be acceptable to replace it with) \$\endgroup\$ – Hearth Mar 6 at 16:32
  • \$\begingroup\$ I have found the diode above It’s Panasonic B0JAMF000011, can’t find a PDF yet but I think it’s A Schottky 30v 30MA. RS and CPC don’t stock it, need to look for an equivalent. \$\endgroup\$ – David Thompson Mar 8 at 20:38
