I have noticed that some times during the day when my solar system panel is shaded it starts using the battery bank power (a few ampers) for a few seconds and then recharges the battery after the shade is gone.

Is this behaviour bad if it happens around 10-20 times a day for lead acid deep cycle batteries?

Does it count as a cycle for the battery in terms of it life span?
