I want to replace a faulty Diodes DMP2215L SOT23 p-channel MOSFET https://www.diodes.com/assets/Datasheets/ds31125.pdf with the p-channel AO3401 MOSFET from Alpha & Omega http://www.aosmd.com/pdfs/datasheet/AO3401.pdf which is much cheaper.

I noticed also that the A03401 have better characteristics from the Diodes DMP2215L, but the question is if the Alpha & Omega Semiconductors is a reliable product manufacturer?

  • \$\begingroup\$ If you are just getting some replacements, that is ok. The company themselves state "AOS's portfolio of products targets high-volume applications" so they are more likely to EOL a part when volumes become too low for their business model. \$\endgroup\$ – Peter Smith Apr 11 at 11:02
