I'm trying to create a replacement cable for a Motorola Atrix lapdock. I know what the pinout of the connector is, so I just need to figure out what specific part to use.

The metal housing of the cable's connector says "STARCONN", which I presume is the manufacturer. However, I can't find anywhere that sells Starconn connectors. What is the connector used? Where can I buy one?

  • \$\begingroup\$ why do you need another connector? ...... are there any other identifiers on the connector? .... google starconn mezanine connector \$\endgroup\$ – jsotola Apr 17 at 0:57
  • \$\begingroup\$ I see at least three connectors in your picture. You should annotate the picture to point put which one you are looking for. \$\endgroup\$ – Michael Karas Apr 17 at 1:02
  • \$\begingroup\$ The connector I'm interested in is the large vertical one with the matching cable. There aren't any other identifiers, and when I google "starconn mezanine connector" I don't get any useful results. I need another connector because I want to make a new cable with different connectors, which are preferably on a PCB. \$\endgroup\$ – Merlin04 Apr 17 at 1:26
