I have an embedded box PC: Advantech Ark1122H. Instead of the prescribed 12V,3A power adaptor, I accidentally used a 19V,3.4A power adaptor that is supposedly for another embedded box PC. Now this PC does not power up/boot (power LED light is turn-off). What is the possibility that this incorrect input supply damaged the PC?

I read a related question here but I would like to confirm for this specific device in case some have experienced working on embedded box PCs.

  • \$\begingroup\$ Sometimes the documentation specifies an input voltage range that it will cope with, but this one just says 12V. 19V is a lot more. \$\endgroup\$ – Finbarr Apr 19 at 8:45
