The problem says solve assuming VI = 0, +2.5V, and -2.5V. I know that if VI = -2.5V the MOSFET's are in cutoff and that VDS = 0. and IDP and IDN will = 0, but would V0 also = 0?

If VI = 0 the circuit is not in cutoff, and I'm assuming it is in triode region, but I'm not sure. I'm also assuming if VI = 2.5 the circuit is in saturation region, but again, not sure how to verify this without knowing V0 to start with.

Any help with this problem would be much appreciated.

    \$\begingroup\$ I know that if VI = -2.5V the MOSFET's are in cutoff Think again. Are both MOSFETs off, or is only one of then off? What is the \$V_{gs}\$ of the NMOS and the PMOS when \$V_i\$ = -2.5 V? Do NMOS and PMOS have the same \$V_{gs}\$? \$\endgroup\$ – Bimpelrekkie Apr 22 at 13:10
