I'm trying to set the timer of a PIC32MX470F512LT to happens every 8us.

But after seeing on an oscilloscope when the callback of the timer it doesn't seem to happen every 8us.

Whats wrong here? Is something related to timer settings or another thing?

  • \$\begingroup\$ How do you know that TMR1's clock source is 32MHz, as specified in the config settings (Clock Source: PBCLK, Input Frequency: 32MHz)? \$\endgroup\$ – brhans Jun 3 at 17:15

  • \$\begingroup\$ Check your OSCCON to see what OSC are you selecting and what other dividers/multipliers affect it. And PBCLK is not always SYSCLK, there's also a divider there (PBDIV). \$\endgroup\$ – RaphaelP Jun 3 at 20:27
