I have been playing with Motor CAD for a while and can't decide what to do. Here is my problem.

I have a building a two-hub electric mountain board. I have motors that are rated for 350W 36V which I am rewinding. My plan is to use a drive for the control with a raspberry pi. Should I rewind it so, I can control voltage for speed up to 48V while maintaining minimum current or should I make a Delta-wye switch on-flight?

The reason I need is to have enough torque on start and steep hills while having lower torque at higher speed for a flat surface.
