I am studying the design of high-torque and low-speed switched reluctance motors (SRM). There are classic designs (8/6, 10 / 8,12 / 8) and designs with multi-toothed rotors and with additional teeth at the poles of the stator. Classic designs are unlikely to be able to perform such functions, but the second option is possible, but I'm not sure that it is the only one. Are there any other special SRM designs for high-torque and low-speed applications?
