I thought current goes clockwise for each loop?

Even if we use the super position principle for the conventional notation shouldn't left loop look like: https://imgur.com/K7hfIC2 and right loop look like: https://imgur.com/Y9hvJko

With this logic: https://imgur.com/mhejo9f

Why is the middle one (i5) going down?

\$\begingroup\$ I can assume currents in any directions before calculations. If my assumed direction is wrong i will get -ve value after the calculation, meaning the direction is actually opposite in the same magnitude. As simple as that. \$\endgroup\$ – Mitu Raj Oct 4 at 8:32
