I have a few Xbox 360 power supplys laying around and want to repurpose for led light project I am working on. The rated output is 12V 16.5A and thats perfect for my needs Problem is how do I get 12v out of it? it has at least a 6 conductor plug and I only get 5V from a few connectors I tested but couldn't find any combination that would put out 12V. Since this is multiconductor socket I don't know how to do it. Is there a pin out for the power supply or some other way these power supplys work? so many chargers have multiple voltage output range. I don know how these work. I know automotive 12v, you know with a single 1 pos and 1 neg as in a car battery. Im lost for next step and don't want to go butchering the perfectly good power supply. Thank you in advance.
