Can someone tell me why the motor doesn't change from lock to unlock? I designed a PCB circuit wich controlls the Motor movements and Lock. The motor has a magnetic lock. When switch to Unlock mode , the motor doesn't release the lock. it stays on lock . but when i disconnect the motor from the circuit it release the lock. can you please tell me what is wrong with the circuit.

even after I removed C203 and R221,then Q201-3 connected directly to the ground , still has the same issue. Thank you

  • \$\begingroup\$ Yes. Since it unlocks when removed, your circuit is still feeding current to the locking mechanism. \$\endgroup\$ – DrMoishe Pippik Nov 26 '19 at 23:58

    \$\begingroup\$ The NDT3055 is an N-channel MOSFET, but you're showing a PNP BJT (connected very strangely) in your schematic. What's really going on? Try measuring the "input" and "to motor" voltage in both the lock and unlocked state and report back. \$\endgroup\$ – TimWescott Nov 27 '19 at 1:24
