I connected my device via serial cable to read the raw data logs. I moved the device to the left (assuming this is obviously the x- axis). However my data below has fluctuating values on the y and z axis. I assumed they should be 0, since i moved the device on the left (x axis) only. Can you help determine if i need to somehow re-calibrate?

x 0 ,y 0 ,z 0,
x 1 ,y 2 ,z 1,
x 1 ,y 2 ,z 0,
x 6 ,y 15 ,z 30,
x 15 ,y 0 ,z 46,
x 28 ,y 6 ,z 67,
x 4 ,y 3 ,z 45,
x 6 ,y 4 ,z 31,
x 8 ,y 13 ,z 15,
x 6 ,y 4 ,z 13,
x 5 ,y 2 ,z 6,
x 1 ,y 12 ,z 16,
x 3 ,y 6 ,z 9,
x 2 ,y 7 ,z 9,
x 7 ,y 9 ,z 4,
x 9 ,y 1 ,z 6,
x 7 ,y 7 ,z 1,
x 4 ,y 2 ,z 1,
x 5 ,y 4 ,z 6,
x 0 ,y 11 ,z 0,
x 2 ,y 5 ,z 2,

\$\begingroup\$ how did you ensure that the motion was along only the x axis? \$\endgroup\$ – jsotola Jan 24 at 19:35

\$\begingroup\$ You know accelerometers are noisy right? It looks like you actually moved it on the Z axis though... \$\endgroup\$ – Ron Beyer Jan 24 at 19:37
