I have obtained this eye diagram for a 50 Km 16 channel WDM simulation using RZ line coding.

Is this eye diagram OK or not?

What should be changed?

Thanks in advance.

\$\begingroup\$ Asking if "something is OK or not" requires that you define what is "OK". Say you ask me to buy a ladder. So I buy a ladder. The ladder is too short for what you intended to do with it. For me the ladder is OK because it is cheap. For you it was not OK as it is too short. When asking for a ladder, maybe you should have mentioned what you wanted to achieve and that the ladder needs to have a certain lenght. Same with the plot, it can be OK or not depending on the definition of what is OK. So for Andy it is not OK because of the colors. I don't like the two different Y-axis scales \$\endgroup\$ – Bimpelrekkie Feb 14 at 10:07

I have no idea. Is the gap supposed to be at the bit period instead of halfway between? I have no idea either. \$\endgroup\$ – user253751 Feb 14 at 10:36
