I don't know if this is the right place to ask but here it goes..

I have an Headphone amplifier connected to a wall plug and usually to my laptop's sound card, i connect my headphones to this amplifier and listen to music.

Sometimes i toy with the jack on my amplifier that goes in the laptop, if i put it against my body my headphones make noise, i assume its resistance noise, is there any danger if i put it in my mouth/tongue by mistake, is there a danger of me being electrocuted by a dumb thing?

  • \$\begingroup\$ @Aaron And remember that many of the people on this site are not native English speakers and will not be familiar with American idioms. \$\endgroup\$ – Elliot Alderson May 12 '20 at 19:58
