I have several varistors (of type MOV-14DxxxK) in series connection. Voltage balancing is very good when applying DC voltage. Does anybody know if there would occur problems concerning dynamic voltage balancing in case of large step-wise voltage changes (e.g. when applying rectangular voltage)?

  • \$\begingroup\$ The datasheet doesn't tell about the deviation range of the varistor capacitance. I am also generally interested in this kind of series connection, independent from the specific varistor. I am now measuring the impedance of the varistor to get a better idea. \$\endgroup\$
