I want to place this XL4015 buck converter board on my PCB.

Is it reliable to mount this module directly above digital logic IC components using spacers? I am not sure if the module has a good ground plane to prevent any coupling.

What are the recommendations that I can follow to reduce the EMI provided that the board incudes an ESP8266 module?

Putting anything metallic etc over a Wi-Fi or Bluetooth module is going to limit its range to some extent but again it's just dependent on if it's good enough for what you need. \$\endgroup\$ – MadHatter Dec 28 '20 at 17:53
