I'm currently developing a BLDC controller with hall sensors, curious about where the hall sensors triggered. Image From Matlab Are they triggered when just a commutation axis becomes or around the axis (at the sector changings in the image)?

The controller will control the motor according to space vector modulation. I'm planning that according to the hall triggering positions, microcontroller will calculate the angle according to the commutation step axes (red axes in the right picture). So, when the hall states changed, is that means the motor is -for example- between the (1, 0, 0) and (1, 1, 0) axes? Or will be 30 degrees later after the halls triggered?

Edit: The hall sensors are positioned 120 degrees according to each other.
