Please help me analyzing this circuit. It should be used in very low AC voltage as input, and output some precision dc output to be measured with adc. Diodes should be 1n4148 as I suppose.

I need output analyze. and what are those diodes do? rectifying?

but as you can see, output is not rectified enouph to use with adc input.

  • \$\begingroup\$ I think the onus is on you to tell us what you want. It's a little strange to have you drop a random schematic here and then ask us to tell us what it does so you can decide if that's what you wanted... Without bothering to tell us what it is that you actually want in the first place. Wouldn't it be easier to just say what your input is and what your adc input range is and what the source looks like and what adc you are using? \$\endgroup\$ – jonk Apr 19 at 7:14

  • \$\begingroup\$ Second, you can't just throw a capacitor across the output of an opamp and expect it to filter the signal. Instead of using a "precision rectifier" circuit, look for examples of "peak detector" circuits. \$\endgroup\$ – Dave Tweed Apr 19 at 10:27
