I am trying to find a 24/16 bit parallel to HDMI bridge chip , searching for rgb to hdmi yields a lot of the rca cables. Which is not what I am looking for. I want to take RGB parallel data with hsync vsync from a Microcontroller To an HDMI . I have seen some HDMI to RGB solutions but not the other way around. Also found an RGB to DSI chip which will suffice if I can't find an HDMI option but Mipi displays are not as readily available as HDMI

\$\begingroup\$ Basically you are asking what to buy. These chips are called HDMI transmitters, and there's plenty of them. \$\endgroup\$ – Justme May 4 at 19:10

\$\begingroup\$ They exist, but if you want to use HDCP and carry the HDMI logo you have to pay significant money to HDMI Licensing. If you restrict your search to DVI transmitter ICs, more options come up from TI, Analog Devices and others. \$\endgroup\$ – hacktastical May 4 at 19:28
  • \$\begingroup\$ @justme if you could kindly link a 24bit to HDMI "transmitter" I cannot seem to find them on Mouser or Digikey \$\endgroup\$ – Edwin Fairchild May 4 at 20:17
