I have written the following code for sinc3 flter in verilog (Vivado). I need to ask how shall I now convert this RTL design to a logic Gate level design in verilog (add AND, NOR, flip flops, etc.)? Would appreciate any suggestions.

`timescale 1ns / 1ps

input reset, /* used to reset filter */
input mdata1, /* input data to be filtered */

output reg [15:0] DATA, /* filtered output*/

);

  • \$\begingroup\$ @user_1818839 Yes, I synthesis it in Vivado, but it generates the desing in. RTL in (LUTs, mux, etc) but i want the desing to be in logic gates (AND, NOR, etc.) \$\endgroup\$ Commented Jan 25, 2022 at 15:41

Vivado synthesizes RTL into Xilinx primitives (LUTs), not gates.

If your objective is to target a standard cell library restricted to gates and flops you need a synthesis flow (like Synopsys DC /VCS) that does that.
