I don't understand what encoder this is, I only have this picture. I don't even know the motor on which I found it connected

    \$\begingroup\$ I would guess by the central chip location, and knowledge of other encoders, that it is a magnetic encoder, measuring the orientation of a magnet on the end of the rotor shaft. \$\endgroup\$
