Questions tagged [analog-switch]

An electrical component which performs a similar function as a mechanical relay (conducts an analog or digital signal when on but does not conduct when off). Unlike a mechanical relay, however, it has no moving parts, and it may or may not provide galvanic isolation between the control signal and the switching terminals.
