Questions tagged [brushed-dc-motor]

Anything related to brushed DC motors. Brushed DC motors are electrical machines used to convert electrical energy into mechanical energy. The conversion is carried out by the interaction of a constant magnetic field generated by fixed magnets or coils with the magnetic field generated by rotating coils which are powered through a mechanical commutator employing brushes to deliver DC current to the moving coils.
