I'm a hardware and software developer. My main fields of expertise are microcontrollers (e.g. PIC32, Arduino), and PC applications (mostly Borland CBuilder). I'm currently new to Android.
I started in the early eighties with the Commodore 64. Basic was my first language, but I soon learned assembly too. In the early nineties I learned C and started writing PC programs. A few years later I moved on to C++. I also played with a few others, but C and C++ have been my most used languages in my daily work ever since.
My hardware experience started in my teenage years when I developed my own guitar amplifier. At first only analog (audio) stuff, but soon also digital designs.
