Why does FTDI RS485 signal look wrong?
The FTDI cable provides wires, allowing for the addition of its terminating resistor, however my only option for connecting them is at the same physical location as the other terminating resistor. this would effectively be two 120 Ohm resistors in parallel i.e. a single 60 Ohm resistor. Should I still do this?

Please read A+ as A and B- as B (I've changed my A- to B- typos). Yes, I have the A signal connected to Y and the B signal connected to Z at the ADM2587E, and the terminating resistor across them.

Correct typo: A- is now B- (two locations)
