(By hidden power requirements I mean something like when some induction motors first start up they require a lot of current to get going. So it might be 24 watts normal running, but two or three or more times as much for a brief moment when first starting the motor. The power supply needs to be able to handle that. I know almost nothing about motors, so I can't tell you if the one you are looking at has this feature, but it should be in the data sheet)
Apr 4, 2014 at 9:02 comment added The Woo Thanks for that. Any idea about the wireless part of the question at all please? Also, there is a 4A version of the power supply. Do I take it that 24V x 4amp = 96 watts. So that would be sufficient?
