Jul 3, 2014 at 15:08 comment added kjgregory For speakers, the packaging typically advertises the wattage because that determines how loud it can be. It should also show the impedance (often on the back of the package). If it's a high quality speaker, it may also show a response curve.

Or is they do, it does not state a current or voltage specification. In this case, i guess it's a matter of trial and error?
