I'm trying to sense IR wave with a phototransistor circuit. ItThe circuit operates well under DC operations (I mean 3.3V through inputs). However, if a square wave is very simple structure; butsupplied from UART input, theafter 2kHz output stays low whether IR exists or not. I couldn't find the problem for 1 dayvoltage waveform become noisy DC about 200mV. What should I check every components even resistors whether they are workingconsider to increase bandwidth to 100kHz (maximum)? There is 1cm space between IR & phototransistor in vertical axis. I appreciate any commentsLED draws 20mA current.
Here isare the circuitdatasheets: (IR LED operates at 1.2V, 10mA)

note: I know that the flat side of the phototransistor is the collector. Is that correct? However, when I test it with diode test, EC junction shows 0.7V while CE is open. Isn't that weird?
